At Classical Wood Interiors our motto
is Knowledge over Time equals Perfection and we take that seriously.
We respond to all inquiries promptly, and can provide preliminary
cost information within a couple of days of receiving information
necessary to make an informed analysis. If you request a design consultation,
we can usually schedule an appointment within two weeks. The completion
of your project will depend upon the scope of work and the number
of projects ahead of you. You will be informed of the current schedule
prior to accepting the proposal. Once the detailed drawings are approved
we will begin your project. You project will be the main concentration
for Classical Wood Interiors and most projects are completed within
4 to 8 weeks, depending upon the scope.

 Welcome
and thank you for visiting Classical Wood Interiors website. Classical
Wood Interiors is a small woodworking, furniture and cabinetmaking
business specializing in custom built-ins, home theaters, mantels,
libraries, home offices, and moldings of all kinds and much more.
Classical Wood Interiors works directly with homeowners to design
each project. We also collaborate with designers, architects, remodeling
contractors and builders.

Commissioning Custom Work
|
A 5-step process:
- Preliminary Pricing (via phone or email)
We provide a preliminary cost estimate
based on the following information:
- Description of the primary purpose of the project
(home theater, library, office cabinetry, etc)
- Size of the space, specifically length of the wall
and ceiling height
- Will the project be painted or perhaps a stained
finish?
Take a look at our gallery of work. Maybe there is a
project there that is similar to what you are looking
for. Reference that and we will, with the additional information,
be able to provide you with a narrow price range that
your project is likely to fall within.
- Design Consultation
The Design Consultation will take place
at your home or office. Dimensions and features of the space
will be taken by measurement and photographs. During this
session we will talk about the specifics of the project
and refine the design details. A non-refundable Design Consultation
fee is generally $200 -$500. The process of designing and
drawing a project is more involved and time-consuming than
it might seem, so we account for the initial charge separately
during the Design Consultation session. This cost is deducted
from the project total assuming we go forward, and the cost
is accounted for in the formal Project Proposal that you
receive.
- Project Proposal
The project proposal will include specifications,
firm project price and delivery schedule. You will also
receive a front view drawing of the project and payment
schedule. Projects are generally divided into 3 main payments
plus the design consultation fee. Smaller projects may be
divided into two payments while larger project that continue
over a longer period of time can be divided into more than
3 payments for your convenience.
- Building the Project
During this time frame your project
will be under construction. An appointment can be schedule
to visit the shop to view the progress of the work.
- Installation
Classical Wood Interiors will schedule
an appointment to install your finished project. A professional
crew will handle you new piece of artwork with care.
